CTV Television Network (commonly shortened to "CTV") is a Canadian English-language network owned by the Bell Media subsidiary of BCE Inc. which began transmission in 1961. It is Canada's largest privately-owned network, and since 2002 (following several years of trailing rival network Global in key markets) has consistently finished at #1 among Canadian networks both in total viewers and key demographics.

Bell Media also operates additional CTV-branded properties, including the 24-hour national cable network CTV News Channel and the secondary CTV Two television system.

While there has never been an official full name corresponding to the channel's initials, it is generally assumed to mean "Canadian Television", a phrase used in promotional campaigns during 1961 (prior to its launch) and 1998.

Wheel of Fortune[]

CTV began airing the show sometime in the 1990s, dropping it in late 2006 in most areas (2004 in Toronto) while retaining Jeopardy! until September 2008.

An exception to the above was British Columbia, where CTV dropped both in September 2001 amid a major television realignment.

Wheel returned to CTV in September 2021 with Season 2 of primetime series Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, moving from Yes TV, which aired Season 1 and has continued to air the syndicated series since 2014. Despite this, Jeopardy!'s primetime series continue to air on Yes TV.
